The Prodigy's incessant road schedule left little time to record, but Howlett managed to bring out the next new Prodigy single. "Firestarter" entered the British charts at number one, though the video was almost banned due to complaints about arson fixation; many Top of the Pops viewers also complained that Keith Flint had scared their children. Preceded by the bilious single "Nasty," the album featured guest appearances from Sleaford Mods and Flux Pavilion, and saw them deliver another dose of their vicious, beat-heavy, guitar-driven sound. ***

*** The Prodigy is een Britse dance-act. The Prodigy is een van de succesvolste acts die de dansmuziek van de jaren 90 van de twintigste eeuw hebben voortgebracht. De grote man achter The Prodigy is Liam Howlett (1971). Muzikaal gezien is hij het brein en de leider van de groep. Op het podium wordt hij vergezeld door MC Maxim Reality (1967) en zanger/danser Keith Flint (1969). Een van de sterkste punten van The Prodigy is dat ze vanwege hun performance opvallen en door hun punkattitude ook een rockpubliek bereiken. Bekende nummers van hen zijn Out of Space, Smack My Bitch Up, Breathe, No Good (Start the Dance), Omen en Firestarter.

Op 31 maart 2015 zal het zevende studioalbum, genaamd The Day Is My Enemy, uitkomen. Op 12 januari 2015 werd alvast een voorproefje van het nieuwe album uitgebracht met de eerste single genaamd 'Nasty'. ***
