Arturia has brought the venerable Oberheim SEM (Synthesizer Expander Module) to life in virtual form, and synthesizer wiz Sami Rabia teaches you all about this phat sounding virtual synth and how to use it to build sounds from scratch in your DAW!

Sami begins by exploring the Oberheim SEM V GUI layout, Preset Management System, and how to use MIDI Learn to control it's parameters from your controller. Then he dives right into the Oscillators, demonstrating how to use all the Waveform Variations, Sync, and Detuning.

Next, Sami shows you how to use the included LFOs, including the waveform shapes and extra controls only found on LFO2. That leads into videos exploring the Filters and Envelopes, and how you can further shape the tone by driving the output using the Soft Clipping function.
