Over the course of five albums, Nicola Benedetti has tackled repertoire from Romantic violin concertos to lush English music, and explored her Italian roots in a recording of Baroque violin classics. Now she's taking a trip to the movies in her sixth album, with music written specifically for films.

Included on the album is the lyrical Violin Concerto by Austro-Hungarian composer Eric Korngold. It's the centre of the film music-inspired programme, with the theme from Schindler's List by John Williams, and Mahler's Piano Quartet in A minor.
